EZ-C-Lite™, with all their contacts in the towing industry, began to customized tow trucks. This led them into automotive tool sales, and subsequently into automotive parts. The company EZ-Automotive was formed. EZ-Automotive grew to one of the largest Automotive Distribution Centers in Central Ohio with many service centers having their service parts on consignment.

James D. Corder began to work with UNIX as part of Bell Laboratories youth mentor program.
